I believe that experience is more important than qualifications, I know people who have the appropriate qualifications who don’t have the experience or aptitude for the job they are employed to do.  I’m a life-long learner, and much of what I have learned isn’t certified.  It’s one thing writing about how to deal with domestic violence,  but living through it is another, let alone dealing with an attempted kidnap of a neighbour, rape, grief, and a mad man at your door wanting to murder your son etc.

For those who want to know what qualifications I’ve achieved and the awarding bodies here’s a list of the ones I think are relevant.  I also hold qualifications in IT, business administration and English.
